‘A Wave of Change’ art event is a month-long showcase of art depicting bluspace-inspired creative expression and therapeutic inquiry.
Our adventure therapy work is simultaneously grounded in and inspired by the natural environment and resources in green and blue spaces. Creative expression through this exhibition of art mirrors the purposeful therapeutic capacity of adventure therapy.
In July 2024, we hosted a month-long art event at Siamsa Tire in Tralee titled; A Wave of Change. The impact and reach of the event was enormous, directly supporting young people and families to access adventure therapy, and raising awareness about this evidence-based alterative to traditional talk therapy.
A Wave of Change returns to Siamsa Tire in August 2025 for another amazing exhibition, auction, and workshop series.
We are calling on artists and creatives to be part of A Wave of Change 2025

Donate Visual Art
We are once again asking the creative community to support A Wave of Change by donating a piece of visual art.
All artworks will be displayed at the Exhibition spaces in Siamsa Tire, Tralee for the month of August, before they are auctioned with proceeds directly supporting adventure therapy interventions for young people and families.

Deliver a Workshop
Adventure therapy is grounded in learning through experience and this year we will host a workshop series at A Wave of Change.
We invite expressions of interest from artists and creatives to deliver a workshop as part of A Wave of Change 2025.
Do you have a creative specialty? We would like to include both hard skills (techniques in painting, sculpture, photography etc) to explorative workshops; creative play and sensory sessions.
